Emergency RESPONSE CENTER

About

Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes Emergency Response Center

Funded by the CARES Act of 2020, this facility was created to strengthen the infrastructure of the tribe and provide needed services to an area within the tribal land that previously had none.  This facility takes into mind the special needs that are required during a pandemic.  If patients are brought to this facility for care, they can be decontaminated, clothes washed, and have new cloths available.  The employees of this facility are also protected from potential contamination. Since this facility operates 24 hours a day, there are accommodations for the employees such as sleeping quarters, showers, kitchen, and laundry services.  The facility also has office space for the daytime staff, a large training room, and a tornado shelter large enough to protect all the occupants of the building at even given time.
