Understanding architectural design phases can help explain what architects do and how the project is structured. Prime Architects will work with you through every stage of the process to ensure the smooth completion of your project.

There are several phases of Architectural planning and design. Prime Architects can work with you on all phases of planning and design. These are the first three design phases of a project once all pre-design is complete.

The Schematic Design gives graphic shape to the project program. It is an overall concept that illustrates key ideas of the design solution.

The Design Development phase focuses on developing practical, pragmatic, and constructible solutions for the exterior envelope, structure, fenestration, interior systems, MEP systems.

The Construction Documents phase is to prepare all documents required by the contractor to construct the building.
