Upgrade HVAC & Renovate Building 3

Prime Architects is providing all necessary architectural and engineering design services as required to prepare complete contract drawings, specifications, technical reports, and cost estimates for the renovation of approximately 17,000 SF in Building 3.

This project includes an HVAC upgrade of numerous units ranging from 3 to 55 tons, and removal of all steam radiators to be replaced with new centralized heat and cooling systems. The new air-cooled chiller will be relocated from current location at the facility. Asbestos will be abated on all steam pipe risers and plumbing replacement will address all floor leaks.

We will also be providing designs for a new sprinkler system throughout the building. Renovation of auditorium includes restoration of floors and finishes for historic character. Auditorium woodwork will be restored as needed and wood structure deficiencies will be assessed. Life safety issues also to be addressed
