Services for Texas Agencies and Local Governments
Facility condition assessments and feasibility studies
We help agencies decide what to fund before they fund it: condition assessments, space needs studies, code and accessibility reviews, and feasibility studies with cost estimates that survive the legislative appropriations request process. Learn more about feasibility study services and the six elements of a feasibility study.
Renovation and modernization of occupied buildings
State office buildings, county courthouses, health facilities and armories rarely close for construction. We phase renovations so staff keep working, and we carry the same infection control and life safety discipline we use in VA hospitals into state health and human services facilities.
New administration, training and support facilities
From program and site selection through construction administration, we deliver new facilities such as the training facility and administration office and the emergency response center for the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes.
A/E subconsulting on IDIQs and term contracts
We join engineering-led and architecture-led teams as the HUB architecture subconsultant on state IDIQs, university system contracts and county on-call agreements, providing full architectural scope or targeted support such as code analysis, interiors and cost estimating.

How We Team on Texas Contracts
Most of our Texas work reaches us through a prime’s HUB Subcontracting Plan. When a prime lists Prime Architects as a HUB subconsultant, we respond to the outreach within the required window, provide a written quote and scope, and carry our VetHUB and SCTRCA certificates through to the agency’s compliance reports. We already team with Texas civil, structural and MEP firms who hold their own HUB or VetHUB status, which lets a prime meet its goal with one coordinated design team. If you are preparing an HSP, read our guide to teaming with an SDVOSB A/E firm, then review our capabilities statement or email gene@prime-arch.com.
