Training Facility and Administration Office Space in Oklahoma City

We designed and developed a 10,000 square foot Training Facility and Administration Office Space for the Oklahoma Safety Council in Oklahoma City. To begin with, this project was divided into two main areas to maximize functionality and efficiency. The first 5,000 square feet features a reception/lobby area, administration offices, a break room, restrooms, supply/storage, and classroom training space. Meanwhile, the second 5,000 square feet featured a 20-foot high bay training area with a Solatube daylighting system and a mezzanine storage level, equipped with an electric forklift.

We aimed to create a space that meets the needs of both administrative and training activities. With this in mind, the high bay training area provides ample space for practical training exercises, while the mezzanine storage level maximizes the use of vertical space. Additionally, the Solatube daylighting system enhances natural lighting, creating a more pleasant and energy-efficient environment.

Prime Architects conducted thorough site visits, field investigations, and user interviews to understand the site’s needs and the client’s requirements. Consequently, the construction process was carefully phased to minimize disruption within the active training environment. This approach especially allowed for a seamless transition from the old facility to the new one, ensuring continuous training operations.

The Prime team successfully completed this project and manages the complex architectural and engineering systems for government and commercial clients. Their commitment to delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget is evident in the final outcome. As a result, the new Training Facility and Administration Office Space meets the functional needs of the Oklahoma Safety Council and adheres to the stringent standards required for such projects.

We demonstrated our ability to handle large-scale projects with precision and efficiency through this project. We focus on understanding and meeting the client’s goals and objectives has resulted in a facility that adds significant value to the Oklahoma Safety Council.
