COLLABORATION IS AT OUR CORE

We are Prime Architects, a veteran-owned architectural firm that excels in delivering comprehensive architectural design and planning services for government and commercial clients. Our multidisciplinary team collaborates closely with clients from conception to completion, ensuring tailored, efficient, and innovative solutions.

My name is Rayne Caldwell and I am a junior at The University of Oklahoma. I reside here in Norman, and love spending extra time with friends and family, working out, and watching Netflix. You can typically find me at the library studying, campus corner shops, or at my sorority.

When did you first start at Prime Architects?

I was hired as the administrative assistant for Prime Architects at the beginning of June 2018.

How did you originally become interested in the field/industry?

I first became interested in this field of work to obtain the knowledge and experience necessary for pursuing my desired career in Psychiatry. In order to reach that goal, I need to apply myself in many different areas. Being an administrative assistant gave me an increased knowledge surrounding organization, scheduling, and multi-tasking.

How has Prime helped you in your career/leadership development?

Prime Architects has truly helped propel me in my career development. Although I started as an administrative assistant, I am now the marketing coordinator. This means that not only have my responsibilities been increased, but also that I am trusted enough to carry out the tasks needed of me. This position change will hopefully help to place me where I need to be later in life.

What do you find the most challenging about your job/position?

The most challenging aspect of this job is familiarizing myself with all of the architecture jargon used when discussing almost everything. I have retained a lot of information, and each day there is something new!

What has been your favorite project to work on?

My favorite project to work on so far has been the Capitol Bank Building design and refurbishing in the Historic Capitol Hill District! Unlike other projects I was able to visit the construction site and see the actual work that goes on behind the scenes. I have really enjoyed compiling videos and images in the promotion of this exciting development!

What has been your proudest moment at Prime?

My proudest moment at Prime Architects thus far has been my recent position change. I started at this company as an administrative assistant but have made my way to the title of marketing coordinator. I am extremely excited for all the experiences that are sure to come from this and cannot wait for all the new responsibilities!

2. Although I have yet to leave the country, I thoroughly enjoy traveling!

3. The Beatles are, and will always be, my favorite band.

Top 3 life highlights?

1. Getting accepted into the University of Oklahoma.

2. Next month I will be going to ACL to see Paul McCartney perform live, and I know that it will be an absolute amazing experience to remember forever.

3. Going on my first vacation alone to Florida.
