JOB SUMMARY
As a key team member, the Project Manager serves as the primary client liaison, managing the entire project lifecycle, coordinating all phases of multiple assigned small to medium-sized projects, and ensuring successful execution from inception to completion. Key responsibilities include estimating the scope of work and budget, preparing strategic plans, and coordinating all administrative and technical project efforts, ensuring the most cost-efficient and effective execution of assigned projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Estimate fees, determine the scope of work, and prepare proposals and contracts to ensure alignment with client expectations.
  • Actively oversee client budgets by providing detailed fee breakdowns for consultants at each project phase, ensuring accurate financial tracking and timely submission to the Accounting department.
  • Independently review and analyze project Estimates versus Actuals, providing insightful comments and necessary corrections.
  • Establish and maintain Gantt-style schedules using Procore, Build, or similar project management software, ensuring all required site visits are clearly indicated.
  • Work closely with clients to identify design requirements, reviewing sketches and models to ensure alignment with their vision.
  • Monitor changes to contracts and associated amounts, proactively notifying clients of any delays while maintaining accurate records of schedule modifications.
  • Organize and document project meetings with clients and the A/E design team, documenting all discussions and decisions accurately.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with contractors regarding construction progress, addressing potential issues, and facilitating timely resolutions.
  • Oversee the preparation of specifications and documentation as delegated, ensuring compliance with project standards.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients by facilitating effective communication and promptly addressing any concerns or updates.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Architecture from accredited program 
  • Minimum of eight (8) years successfully managing architectural and engineering projects.
  • Solid understanding of architectural and construction means and methods, with the ability to detail these systems in coordination with structural, mechanical, and civil trades.
  • Establish and maintain Gantt-style schedules using Procore, Build, or similar project management software, ensuring all required site visits are indicated.
  • Proficient in Revit and other architectural design software.
  • Understanding of construction drawing and detailing for various commercial and institutional building systems of significant size.
  • Ability to solve complex architectural design and construction challenges while advising the Senior Management team on issues that may affect project goals, budget, and timeline.
  • Excellent coordination abilities with internal and external stakeholders to manage schedules effectively.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction detailing, with the ability to prepare complete sets of construction documents.
  • Exceptional communication and reporting skills, ensuring clear and compelling interactions with all project participants.

 

Preferred

  • Licensed Architect with eight (8) + years of professional experience
  • Experience in healthcare architectural design
